AURA FUTURE S.L informs about the use of cookies on its website: www.lodi.es

1. What are cookies and why do we use them?

Cookies are files that can be downloaded to your computer by websites. They are tools that play an essential role in the provision of numerous information society services. Among other things, they allow a website to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their computer and, depending on the information obtained, they can be used to recognise the user and improve the service offered.

On the Wikipedia page (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cookie_(computing)) it is possible to obtain more information about what cookies are and how they work.

Types of cookies

Depending on the entity that manages the domain from which the cookies are sent and processes the data obtained, two types can be distinguished:

  • First-party cookies: those that are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain managed by the editor itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
  • Third-party cookies: those that are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by the editor, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

In the event that the cookies are installed from a computer or domain managed by the editor itself but the information collected through them is managed by a third party, they cannot be considered as own cookies.

There is also a second classification according to the length of time they remain stored in the client's browser, which may be:

  • Session cookies: designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. They are usually used to store information that only needs to be kept for the provision of the service requested by the user on a single occasion (e.g. a list of products purchased).
  • Persistent cookies: the data remains stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie manager, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

Finally, there is another classification with five types of cookies depending on the purpose for which the data obtained are processed:

  • Technical cookies: those that allow the user to navigate through a website, platform or application and the use of the different options or services that exist in it such as, for example, controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing parts of restricted access, remembering the elements that make up an order, carrying out the purchasing process of an order, making the application for registration or participation in an event, using security elements during navigation, storing content for the broadcasting of videos or sound or sharing content through social networks.
  • Personalisation cookies: these allow the user to access the service with some predefined general characteristics depending on a series of criteria in the user's terminal, such as the language, the type of browser used to access the service, the regional configuration from which the service is accessed, etc.
  • Analysis cookies: these allow the party responsible for them to monitor and analyse the behaviour of the users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookies is used to measure the activity of the websites, application or platform and for the elaboration of browsing profiles of the users of these sites, applications and platforms, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of the usage data of the users of the service. Advertising cookies: these enable the management, in the most efficient way possible, of advertising spaces.
  • Behavioural advertising cookies: these store information on the behaviour of users obtained through the continuous observation of their browsing habits, which allows a specific profile to be developed in order to display advertising based on the same.
  • External social network cookies: these are used so that visitors can interact with the content of different social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and are generated only for users of these social networks. The conditions of use of these cookies and the information collected is regulated by the privacy policy of the corresponding social platform.

2. What type of cookies does this website use?

Cookies, depending on their permanence, can be divided into session or permanent Cookies. The former expire when the user closes the browser. The latter expire when the purpose for which they are used is fulfilled (for example, for the user to remain identified on the websites and services of this website) or when they are manually deleted.

Additionally, depending on their purpose, Cookies can be classified as follows:

  • Performance Cookies: this type of Cookie remembers your preferences for the tools found in the services, so you do not have to reconfigure the service each time you visit. By way of example, this type of cookie includes:
  • Volume settings of video or audio players.
  • Video bitrates that are compatible with your browser.
  • Geolocation Cookies: these Cookies are used to find out what country you are in when you request a website or service. This Cookie is completely anonymous, and is only used to help target content to your location.
  • Registration Cookies: registration Cookies are generated once the User has registered or subsequently logged in, and are used to identify you on the websites and services for the following purposes:
  • Keep the user identified so that, if the user closes a service or website, the browser or the computer and at another time or another day re-enters that service or website, he/she will continue to be identified, thus facilitating browsing without having to identify him/herself again. This functionality can be deleted if the user clicks on the "Exit" function, so that this Cookie is deleted and the next time the user enters the website he/she will have to log in to be identified.
  • Check if the user is authorised to access certain services, for example, to participate in a competition.
  • Additionally, some services may use third party connectors such as Facebook, Twitter or Google. When the user registers for a service with credentials from a social network or third-party identification system, they authorise the service to store a persistent cookie that remembers their identity and grants them access to the website until it expires. The user can delete this cookie and revoke access to the website through social networks or third-party identification systems by updating their preferences in the specific social network.
  • Analytical cookies: Each time a User visits a Website or Service, a tool from an external provider (Google Analytics, comScore and similar) generates an analytical cookie on the User's device. This cookie, which is only generated during the visit, will be used in future visits to the services of this website to anonymously identify the visitor. The main objectives pursued are:
  • Allow the anonymous identification of browsing users through the "Cookie" (identifies browsers and devices, not people) and therefore the approximate counting of the number of visitors and their trend over time.
  • Identify anonymously the most visited content and therefore more attractive to users.
  • To know whether the user accessing the site is new or a repeat visitor.

Important: Unless the user decides to register on this website, the cookie will never be associated with any personal data that can identify the user. These cookies will only be used for statistical purposes to help optimise the user experience on the site.

More information on the privacy policy of these analytical tools can be found at: Google Analytics
